Take The Last Train To Clarksville

Actually, the story was "Last Ship To Orion," and the cover creeped the heck out of me as a kid. I was staying the night in a trailer out in Streator and it was the only thing I had to read, having picked it up at Safrzyks (sa-FAR-checks) up on Hall Street. Now I am officially done with dogs and women wrestlers. Seeya next time, Wayne

That cover would creep anyone out, especially a kid. I'm walking down a country lane on my way to a cool forest creek and you are reading about lizard aliens on the last train to Orion. Do you find this humorous? :)

Sorry to hear about the funeral.

I used to love those Warren magazines. I started reading them when they took the comic book rack out of my local drug store. Fortunately they kept the magazine rack and that's where those were displayed. Seemed like they would last forever, but they just faded away.
